DEVELOPMENT of  the ARTS

Let’s take our simple yet complex brains for example. We as humans interacting in todays tech, and non-tech world, we ‘see’ about 90% visual, 8% for touch, 2% for hearing

Brain is devised into sections. Those sections have percentages for mass, and active usage. When we are looking at the brain in relativity to its size, we know the occipital and temporal lobes representation as a ‘mass by weight’.

‘Brain mass by weight’ :

  • responsible for 30% visual
  • 8% responsible for touch
  • 3% for hearing
  • 20% is for memory
  • 39% undiscovered

Memory Gland Alliances:

  • hypothalamus
  • epithalamus
  • hippocampus
  • the amygdala
  • the cingulate gyrus
  • thalamus
  • mammillary glands

In addition to ‘mass by weight’, memory  uses up to 20 % of the brains total stored energy for the entire body.

  • What enriched foods would we need to consume?
  • amino acids, or proteins should be consumed in order to unlock the brain’s full potential? ( both break down into ATP - energy)
  • Where is the other 39% of the brain’s physiological motor functions?….
  • We understand that we only utilize 10% of the mass of our brain, as by mass weight? Or is it according to the 10% of the mass amount of information that we, as a human species only know. Which is relatively minute …..

Brain Hemispheres Basic Index:

  • Right side - attention, memory, reasoning, problem solving, logic, science , math
  • Left side - Language, creative, emotions, other undiscovered

As creatives in the field that require full use or concentration, short term memory, reasoning or otherwise, both hemispheres of the brain are used for split second decisions while working in the advertisement field of photography.  In the creative world of the arts, it is very relative to know the human body’s physiology. It will open up many doors for you once you’ve reached the correct accumulation of brain nutritional knowledge relative to your craft. These are all necessary procedures. Sounds, odd, yes I know. Hold that thought and we will address it along the way.  This is an example of knowing that nutrition or ‘brain food’  plays a key role in your endeavors. This may be useful, as once you understand the hemispheres of the brain, it will help you determine goals in your creative art. If you have found a weakness, look back and think about the nutrition. Specifically nutrition that significantly aides in the creative energy needed to supply those memory glands to create your art.

How would you expect to capture natural light of something so common as wheat grass when you know not what a wheat field resembles?

This is a exercise designed to begin the creative process once you read the percentages above. It may start to ‘jog’ your memory on a project you would prefer to finish. Well, I will inform you our brains like numbers. Keep reading and you may understand why the significance of nutrition is hand in hand within the creative arts. Usually the greater the percentage number, the more buzz there is. Our eyes are attracted to percentage numbers as those represent a small visual symbol which is or may be interrupted as a ‘pictorial-graph’.  Visual numbers are also part of other creative arts such as music to start to possibly a rhythm, or beat in the form of a visual number. The creative process is an endeavor. It will be long, contain thousands of hours of dedicated work and devotion. In the end, it will pay off…..
